Reporting to their Lead hand or Journeyperson, apprentice electricians are responsible for working in a team to complete the installation of building automation systems including low-voltage wiring and device installation. Apprentices are responsible for properly securing all tools and equipment at the end of each work period to prevent damage or loss.


Responsibilities:

  • Performing all work in a safe manner - abiding by SERV-ALL's Health and Safety policies as well as all

government legislation and regulations

  • Cut, bend and install conduit
  • Pulling wire through conduit, ceiling spaces and walls
  • Installing and wiring of electrical devices, such as controllers, relays, actuators, etc.
  • Complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Adhere to all of SERV-ALL Mechanical's policies and procedures


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must be an indentured 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th year electrical apprentice
  • Have a Class 5 drivers license and reliable vehicle
  • Basic hand tools and drill (tool list will be provided)
  • Ability to get a security clearance
  • Available to work out of town, shift work, nights, and weekends
  • Conduit bending experience preferred
  • Controls experience considered an asset

Schedule:

  • 8 Hour Shifts
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime, shift work and weekend availability if needed
